We had a great Christmas this year. We kept the expense down but everyone seemed happy with their gifts. Our biggest expense was the lettermans jacket we got Amanda. Not many kids letter their freshman year so we thought it was worth the expense.
The after school program, Stepping Stone, had a holiday party for all the stepping stone kids. They also took free family pictures. Ours turned out really cute. Eric and Randy aren't in it. They didn't come because it was at the Elementary school.
Every year the local firefighters come around with Santa and deliver candy canes to all the good little girls and boys in Deer Park. Here they are delivering to mine.
Todd turned 11 this year. It doesn't hardly seem possible. Happy Birthday Todd.
This is the only candle I could find. Instead of blowing it out, as soon as we finished singing, Todd clapped his hands and it went out. Apparently it's not cool to blow them out once you turn 11.
This was the 3rd year that the wards in our building had a Night of Nativity. There were lots of nativities displayed and it was beautifully decorated. Our Primary children sang on Friday night.
This nativity was amazing. It is from Africa and made of some kind of African wood. The carvings were very detailed.
What a day of football. We started with the (rotten) Apple Cup. Cougars vs. Huskies. We have fans for both teams so I made a big batch of fudge and whenever your team scored you got a piece of fudge. Who knew that it would be a better game than the BYU vs. Utah. However we were BYU cougar fans to the finish even if it was a horrible one. Jason with Jeff's cougar helmet.
