Gold!

Not real gold but isn't the ornament on top cute.

Spring is here!

I planted some flowers two weeks ago and then it snowed. But they all survived and have opened up beautifully. Not only are these flowers very bright and colorful you can smell them as soon as you enter the yard.

Base Hit

Sorry that the video is so bad. We had to stick it through the fence links to shoot it. The sun's position didn't help things.

Stags vs. Rams

Eric plays on the JV team for Deer Park High School.
At this game he got his first shot at pitching. Here he is warming up.
Eric pitching.

Elementary Fun Run

The Elementary school has a fun run every year at the track. Kindergarten runs one lap, 1st grade runs 2 laps, and 2nd grade runs 3 laps. If you look real hard you can find Jason's head in this crowd. Hint: He has a cheese eating grin on his face.

Here he is as he slapping high fives as he finishes his second lap.
This is Brenda before the run. She was really geared up to run.
Here she is starting her 3rd lap.

Primary Activity

Todd, Brenda and Jason had a primary activity last week. It was a cruise on the SS Primary Friendship. This ship covered most of the hall in the Gym.
One of the activities was making a book for the Bishop that had a picture of each of the kids and some info about them. Jason looks thrilled. He wasn't feeling well that day and if I remember correctly threw-up in the van on the way home.

Another activity was singing. Not one of Todd's favorite things to do.
Bishop told the kids about his childhood and read to them from his scriptures (his favorite story).

Here they are making ice cream by rolling it in a can. It was very tasty.

Opening Day

Jeff and Eric went to Mariner's Opening Day.

I'm still trying to get Jeff to actually take pictures of him too. He brings back great pictures of everthing around him but forgets to get pictures of himself and those he is with. Oh, well, maybe next time.

Arizona

Jeff and his boss won a trip to Mariner's Training Camp. It was an all expense paid trip for 4 days and 5 nights. They spent their time golfing, watching baseball and had great seats for a hockey game. Jeff came back red as a lobster. He also brought back some 200+ pictures. I tried to narrow it down to just a few. Anyway, Jeff had a great time and didn't want to come back. (We were still covered in snow when he made this trip.)
