BYU Football

Jeff went to a fireside where Ty Detmer was the guest speaker. He said it was great. I had to stay home and wait for kids to get home from away games.

Memorial Day

We made our yearly trip to the cemetary for memorial day. Eric and Randy chose to stay home. On the way home we stopped and looked at Spokane Falls.

They were looking into the sun and Jason just couldn't keep his eyes open.

Field Day at Arcadia

Brenda ran in the 4 x 1 relay. Her team came in first place.

Brenda with her relay team.

Todd was on the relay team. They came in 2nd. He also ran the 4 x 1 relay. I think they came in 3rd. I was working that day and couldn't stay for both races.

Most Improved

I think the plaque says it all. The team votes for this award. Great job Eric.

Wendys

Jeff's parents gave us a Wendys gift card at Christmas and we finally got around to using it. The kids had great fun (we don't go out to get fast food very often). Thanks Mom and Dad.

Brenda found a long french fry. She was so proud of it.

Spring is here.

I looked out the window and what did I see?

Todd was sitting in a popcorn tree!
My version of the primary song. The trees in the apple orchard are gorgeous this time of year.

Who is that masked boy?

We dropped off some clothes at the local second hand store and Jason found these glasses for .25. He wore them all day.

Amandas off and running again.

Amanda is running the 1600m in track. She was aiming for a personal best of 6 minutes and missed it by .01. But 6.01 was good enough for 2nd place.

She is going to try again this week at districts.

Baseball season is here.

Kevin got his first go at baseball as a 7th grader. He enjoyed playing and was a pretty good player.

Eric had a great year this year. He finished with a .360 batting average.

Eric at bat against Colville.

Eric got to play left field for the first time. One player had to leave and another was hurt. He has never been in the outfield before. Later in the game he also played right field.

Getting back to normal?

Randy is home. Randy is back to school. He is still very limited in what activities he can do and if he tries to do to much he gets headaches. We still don't know if he will need surgery on his ear but I'll let you know when I do. To look at him you can't tell anything is wrong. All the injuries were internal.

Randy's first trip out of his room. This little nurse pushed him around the hospital and outside. It was quite comical.

They were a little worried about Randy's appitite in the hospital. He wouldn't eat until I got to the hospital and then made him eat. It turned out that he just didn't like the food. When we got home he was eating like normal -everything he could get in his mouth.

Charlie Buynak and Jordan Powell came and spent the day with Randy. They played video games and watched movies. He also had Jessica and Sarah come and visit (the balloon is from Jessica). Jordan is the driver of the car Randy jumped on and the other kids were in the car when the accident happened.
