| The hike in the Narrows consisted of a lot of walking through the Virgin river. |

| It was very difficult to navigate through the river rocks. Jeff, Kevin, Todd and I turned back. Eric and Amanda went ahead with some of Jeff's siblings. They didn't get back until 3 hours after we did. I'm hoping to get some pictures of the kids from Ryan. |

| The water was very, very cold. This was the deepest part of the river but it is also why I didn't let Jason and Brenda take the hike. |
